The border crossing point of Bogoridica between FYROM and Greece has closed today for two hours due to the protest of private cabs and buses from the city of Gevgelija. They demand to be involved in the transport of refugees, as they have already had an agreement with the government coordination authority for the management of the refugee crisis.

The head of the cab association, Mile Angelov said that the agreement is being breached and that refugees are only being transported with trains.

“We demand for the agreement to be respected and for private cabs and buses to be allowed to carry refugees. The agreement was that during the night, the refugees would be transported with trains, while during the day, they would be transported with cabs and buses”, Angelov says.

According to him, the national railway cannot have a monopoly of the transport of refugees. /ibna/
