Under the auspices of the Commune of Pristina and Ministry of Economy of Albania, the “Buy Albanian” fair started today.

Present in this fair are 100 Albanian companies from Kosovo, Albania and FYR Macedonia.

During the day, the fair was visited by the ambassador of Albania, Qemal Minzhozi and Gent Bashota from the office of economic development at the Commune of Pristina.

On this occasion, Bashota said that the more domestic products are consumed, the better it is for the country.

“The scope of this fair is for companies from Albania and Kosovo, but also Albanian companies in Macedonia to be able to exchange their experiences on the occasion of 28 November. What’s special about this fair is that all companies are from Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia. We must get used to consuming our products”, he declared.

Meanwhile, ambassador Minxhosi said that he was happy to see such a large number of Albanian products.

“We believe that this fair will encourage different incentives in Albanian speaking countries. We must exploit all opportunities to produce Albanian, buy Albanian and exchange Albanian”, he declared.

He said that it’s time to get to work, in order for Albanian products to dominate Albanian speaking countries.

“Buy Albanian” incentive stems from the Network of Albanian Organizations, which aims at encouraging Albanian consumers to buy Albanian products and services. /ibna/
