In Albania, former right wing Prime Minister, Sali Berisha considers the business situation in the country as dramatic, saying that businesses that have no ties to the government, are being fined and prosecuted.
According to him, the government is exerting terror on small businesses, to fill the budget hole of 300 million euros caused by the big thefts of “PM Edi Rama and his clans”.
In breach of all laws that apply to inspection and Tax Code, fines are issued one after the other to the same businesses, until the business pays the bribe that is demanded, Berisha says.
The former PM notes that many foreign companies and a capital of over 3 billion USD have left the country and no serious foreign company has arrived in Albania in the past two years, since the left wing took office.
“No serious foreign company has arrived in Albania during the two years of the current government. Hundreds of foreign companies have left the country along with a 3 billion USD worth of capital”, former PM Berisha says. /ibna/
