Talks will be held today in Brussels in relation to the issue of car insurances. Kosovo’s delegation will be led by the deputy prime minister of Kosovo, Edita Tahiri.
Today, the delegation of Kosovo will hold bilateral meetings with European Union negotiators to discuss about the agreements between the insurance industry in Kosovo and that in Serbia, relating to border insurance issues. The main objective of the delegation of Kosovo is to find modalities in order to drop the high border insurance prices and facilitation of the border procedures for the citizens of both countries.
Today, delegation of Kosovo will also have meetings with representatives of the Green Card Bureau based in Brussels, to discuss the methods that the Bureau, as the most important European mechanism on border insurance issues, will use to be part of the possible agreement on this issue and how it will handle the implementation of the standards of this organization in border insurance issues.
Also part of the delegation of Kosovo will be Rrahim Pacolli, head of the Technical Group on issues of Border Insurances and talks with the Bureau of Green Card, Qemajl Marmullakaj, coordinator of border insurance issues and Gazmir Raci, adviser to deputy prime minister Tahiri. /ibna/
