Study programs in which teaching will take place in a foreign language are being created in greek universities, based on a series of amendments tabled by the Ministry of Education in the bill “Creation of a Centre for Dementia, improving Perinatal Care and Ministry of Health regulations competence issues”, discussed and voted on in the House.
In these departments will be made available exclusively to international students who are not nationals of a Member State of the European Union and are not high school graduates of a greek highscool. The students who are selected will have to pay fees.
Particularly in Crete and the Aegean University are being established the first departments of English taught tourism and maritime studies. Similarly, in the Democritus University of Thrace are founded the first departments of Greek studies.
