A border police helicopter crashed last night near the industrial area of Strumica, in the east of FYR Macedonia.
Sources at the Ministry of Interior said that four people died in this accident. The victims were members of the crew, but authorities also suspect of other victims.
The accident took place around 10 pm. Witnesses said that the helicopter has crashed with an antenna of Macedonian Radio, which is 140 meters long.
After the crash, the helicopter fell in pieces in the surrounding area. Senior government officials arrived at the scene along with the mayor of Strumica, Zoran Zaev, who is also the leader of the largest opposition party, LSDM. /ibna/
