An offensive bomb has exploded in a resort with swimming pools in Veles, city in the center of the Former Republic of Macedonia on the Vardar river.
According to witnesses, the blast was powerful. Local police said that there were no injured people, but only material damages and an atmosphere of panic among holiday makers.
The owner of the resort, A.M, 43 years old, was interrogated by police. He said that in the hours of the afternoon, an unidentified person came near the pool and threw the bomb which caused a powerful blast.
An investigation group has arrived at the scene to make the necessary inquiries.
The perpetrator of the attack has been identified as I.V, but police doesn’t offer further details on the suspect and the causes that led to this.
The continuous events, accompanied by bomb blasts in different countries of the world, have created a climate of insecurity for many people. For this reason, some people are worried of facing such fatal attacks. Therefore, even the event occurred in Veles led to suspicions that this attack could be a similar one to the ones happening every once in a while in Europe. /balkaneu.com/
