A bomb exploded today (18.03) in the early hours of the morning in the northern part of Mitrovica, but apart from material damages, there were no damages in people.
The regional chief of Police of Kosovo, Djelko Bojic said that the explosion happened around 3 am in “Vlada Cetkovic St” and authorities believe that an unidentified person activated the hand bomb near the building situated on the road that leads to the hospital.
IBNA learns that the blast has taken place near ‘Rio’ commercial center in the north of Mitrovica. This center will open in a few days time and an Albanian from Vushtria is a co owner of this center.
Unofficial sources say that this is also the reason behind the blast, as radical groups in the north have learnt that an Albanian is co owner. /ibna/
