Oversight Committee of the Bank of Albania has decided to take its stance in relation to the theft of 713 million ALL at the Bank once the prosecution ends the inquiries.
The meeting of the Oversight Committee, which was held yesterday and lasted for about four hours, has rejected the proposal of the member of this committee, Ermelinda Meksi to include in the order of the day, the voting for the removal of the Governor of the Bank of Albania, Ardian Fullani.
This action was justified through the decision taken above, in relation to taking a stance after the investigation.
Another decision which was taken relates to contacting international institutions specialized on the fight against economic crime in order to avoid such events from happening in highly important institutions, such as the Bank of Albania. /ibna/
