Berisha from Lezhe: There will be tax cuts in the next four years

Lezhe-Prime Minister Sali Berisha said today during the inauguration of the road that links Lezhe to the area of Kala and Sheher that “Employment remains our biggest priority.”

“We’re doing everything in order for Albania to generate as many new jobs as possible. We’re not satisfied with a 0.5% fall of the population. We must turn Albania into a generator of jobs. We’re the only country which reduces any taxes, in order for investors to be more courageous”, said Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

Referring to the political opponents, Berisha said that, “the other alternative offers an increase of taxes and classic lies. Tax increases will destroy jobs and will make investors leave. How did we manage to benefit 4.2 billion USD worth of investments? Thanks to the accession in the NATO and the reduction of taxes. Tax increases do nothing else but make investors leave Albania. There will be tax cuts in the four years to come. We’re entering these elections with a truly concrete program, which will have a changing effect”, said Berisha.

Speaking about the inauguration of the road segment that links Lezhe to Kala and Sheher, Prime Minister Berisha said that, “by building this road, we turn Lezhe and its castle into a big magnet for tourism. Tourism in the past 8 years has seen an unprecedented transformation. The name, the heritage and the Albanian tradition are quickly spread in the world. Tourism for the residents of Lezhe means employment. I promise that in the four years to come, we will have 7 million tourists. 30 thousand new jobs will be opened in all sectors of tourism”, said the Prime Minister during the inauguration of the 3.1 km road. /ibna/
