Government coalition party BDI (Democratic Union for Integration) has demanded the involvement of the international community on the investigation of the wiretapping affair and the overcoming of the political crisis in FYROM.
“All the sides have lost their credibility in this process and we believe that there must be an involvement of the international community. We have seen that there’s willingness by the international community in order to play a role in overcoming the current situation. We believe that their involvement in the wiretapping affair would bring credibility for the process, credibility for the citizens and the sides involved”, says Artan Grubi, BDI lawmaker.
Grubi hasn’t commented on the content of several conversations contained in the wiretapping materials, where Macedonian senior state officials use insulting words against Albanians. Grubi said that at the end of the month, the party will hold its congress which will also see the participation of former prominent EU and US officials and diplomats who will discuss the current developments in FYR Macedonia. /ibna/
