Ballots in Kosovo counted, Self Determination wins in Prizren and Pristina

The Central Election Commission in Kosovo has announced on Monday that the ballot counting process for the second round of the local government elections has been completed.

Based on the results, Shpend Ahmeti, of Self Determination, is expected to be mayor of Pristina for the next four years. Ahmeti won against his rival of LDK, Arban Abrashi, by a narrow difference of 365 votes.

Meanwhile, the mayor of Prizran will be Mytaher Hasuka of Self Determination, who won against his rival of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Shaqir Totaj. In the past 10 years, Prizren was governed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo.
