The Balkan Film Festival has launched its fifth edition, thus bringing the message that art goes beyond conventional borders.

This year too, the festival brings films from different countries of the Balkans. According to the organizers of the festival, it is now consolidated, while this year, more room has been given to young people, in order to offer them the opportunity to work with imminent experts.

The fifth edition of the festival has been greeted by the guests and participants, who have praised the work done so far, seeing it as one of the most special events.

“The festival itself offers a momentum to the city of Pogradec, although this is not the tourist season”, director Saimir Kumbaro says.

“This is the fifth year that this festival is being organized and I have had the honor of being the first president of this festival. It’s something new”, says director Esat Mysliu.

For a week, this festival will revitalize the city of Pogradec, bringing art and culinary together. /ibna/
