Senior politicians in Tirana have reacted today after the murder of the Serb politician, Oliver Ivanovic in Kosovo.
Thus, the President of Albania, Ilir Meta said that this serious event must not have an impact on the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
Expressing his sorrow about this serious act, he strongly condemned this murder and said that he was confident that authorities would shed light upon this event and will bring the perpetrators to justice.
On the other hand, the Albanian PM, Edi Rama considered this act as ill-intentional and aiming to provoke hate and tension.
“I’m really sorry for Oliver Ivanovic’s tragedy; an ill-intentional act which provokes hate and tension. Efforts for dialogue and peace must not be halted!”, Rama writes. /balkaneu.com/
