Austrian Justice Minister, Josef Moser said on Friday at the end of a meeting with his Albanian counterpart, Etilda Gjonaj in Tirana that collaboration between the two countries has become stronger and stronger.
According to him, Albania has made lots of progress, especially in the area of justice.
“Albania has made big progress, especially in the area of justice. It has taken concrete steps to minimize corruption and rebuild justice system. These measures need to be praised, regardless of the political party which has launched them. These are measures that the country needs”, Moses said.
As far as June local elections are concerned, the Austrian minister added that: “The issue of the local elections and the recognition of the result is a key topic. Although political parties are driven by different interests, the arguments that they offer in their claims should be valid. Through dialogue, they will be able to achieve everything. Politicians should serve the interests of the country and not make the situation more difficult. There must be joint efforts to take the country forward.” /ibna/
