Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian is on an official working visit in Slovenia March 9-10, during which time he will meet with Slovenian counterpart Karl Erjavec.
The scope of the visit is to strengthen political dialogue between the two countries, according to Slovenian Foreign ministry, which adds that “Slovenia would like to revive political dialogue and strengthen economic and cultural cooperation” with Armenia.
The agenda will include talks on strengthening bilateral relations, as well as exchange of views on european and international issues. Talks are also expected to revolve around the experience of Armenia after joining the Eurasian Economic Union.
The visit came half a year after the then President Danilo Türk paid an official visit to Armenia as the first Slovenian president to do so.
Today, Minister Nalbandian will also meet Speaker of the National Assembly Milan Brglez and State Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office Janez Lenarčič.
