Film director Sefan Çapaliku brings back on the stage after 25 years actress Ema Ndoja (on the photo). This comeback comes in the premier of the piece “Arabian night” by German author Roland Schimmelpfennig. The director says that this contemporary piece suits Albanian reality.
Given that this piece suits the Albanian reality, this has been one of the reasons that led to the director to bring this piece on the stage.
“It really suits our reality, especially suburban realities, and big suburbs such as Tirana. This has been one of the motives why I chose the drama ‘Arabian nights”, which could also be called ‘One thousand and one nights’”, says director Çapaliku.
“Arabian nights” is the theatrical premier which will open the new season in the Metropolis Theater. Playing in this piece are actors such as Naun Shundi, Ema Ndoja, Desara Xhagolli, Erion Hinaj, Jozef Shiroka.
The success of this piece is seen in many theaters in 40 countries of the world.
