The EU ambassador to Kosovo, Natalyia Apostolova has called for political players in the country to finalize the demarcation agreement with Montenegro.
Apostolova has welcomed the agreement reached between almost every political party on Saturday.
“We have two very important steps which help in advancing with the issue of demarcation. We’re very close to solving this issue”, Apostolova said today following a meeting with Assembly speaker, Kadri Veseli.
Apostolova said that the ratification of the deal brings Kosovo closer to the visa liberalization process.
“The ratification of the deal brings us closer to the visa free regime. MPs should think about the citizens and the future of Kosovo in the EU. Liberalization is an opportunity for students, businesses, it’s an opportunity to create new jobs and for economic development”, Apostolova said. /balkaneu.com/
