The city of Mitrovica has woken up in the recent days with racist crosses and anti-Albanian slogans, reports IBNA news agency.
Anti-Albanian slogans have been stamped in the “Aziz Sylejmani” Albanian school in north of Mitrovica.
Unknown people have forced their way in the school and have written in the black boards of the school chetnic symbols and have drawn big crosses.
In one of the classes, they had written the following slogan: “Samo Sloga Srbina Spasava” which in English it’s translated “Only Unification Can Save Serbia”.
Flamur Gacaferri, headmaster of this school says that it’s been 15 years that such phenomenon has not been seen.
According to him, classes have not taken place at the start of this week due to the inquest being conducted by police.
Deputy head of police for the north region, Besim Hoti, says that police is holding intensive investigations. He claims that there are still no suspects on this case. /ibna/
