Ankara partly denies having harassed the helicopter of the Chief of the Hellenic Army, saying it was not a dangerous approach, without denying that its warplanes were present in the wider area.
Turkish security sources spoke to Turkish media and reported that there were allegations from foreign media that Turkish warplanes harassed the helicopter carrying the Hellenic Army Chief when he was approaching Kastellorizo.
“This claim does not reflect reality. There was no dangerous approach to the helicopter of the Greek Chief. The aircrafts of the Turkish Air Force were performing their regular mission in the Aegean”./ibna
