According to unconfirmed information Ankara has issued an arrest warrant for a second official of the US Consulate in Constantinople.
According to reports in the Turkish media, the arrest warrant was issued Sunday, but the employee in question has not yet been arrested yet, as he does not come out of the U.S. consulate.
The US consulate employee, who is also a Turkish citizen, is the coordinator between the US Consulate and Turkish Security Units. It is alleged that this employee, like the first official of the US consulate arrested and detained last week, is accused by Turkey of having affiliations with the Gulen movement. Turkish sources claim that his wife, after a call from the movement, had deposited money in Asya bank, which was later closed by the Turkish authorities./IBNA
