“The extremely painful and burdensome measures proposed by the partners – lenders surpass the limits of the endurance of the Greek people”, said the representative of ANEL Marina Chrysoveloni on Thursday and attacked the opposition – especially The River – which “fantasizes new memorandums”. It is also noted that the government will negotiate “to the bitter end for a truly beneficial agreement”.
Meanwhile, amid the rapid developments in the negotiation and in light of the information to be presented in Parliament by the Prime Minister, the President of ANEL Panos Kammenos convened a meeting of the Parliamentary Group at 17:30 Friday.
The announcement of ANEL
In her communication the Chrysoveloni notes: “The extremely painful and burdensome measures proposed by the partners-lenders surpass the limits of endurance of the Greek people.
“The SYRIZA – Independent Greeks government, moving within the mandate it received on January 25, will negotiate to the bitter end for a truly beneficial agreement in the name and on behalf of the Greek people.
“But it is provocative and politically unethical for the domestic coalition of the willing to welcome and promote the rigid and shameful attitude of lenders, that is the parties that unconditionally implemented memorandum policies, such as ND and PASOK, along with the neoliberal extra, The River, which is on a permanent crisis of delirious Bonaparte-like greatness and fantasizes defections.
“Let the alliance of the willing be patient and not anticipate new memorandums. The Greek people voted to stay in the euro with dignity and a European standard of living. They also expressed their strong dissatisfaction to the servility of the “yesmen” on all the irrational and paranoid claims of the creditors”.
