A message sent to all directions by the Archbishop of Tirana, Durres and all Albania, Anastasios appeals to all officials to give Konstantinos Katsifa’s body to be buried according to the religious tradition.
In his message, Archbishop Anastasios asks for all souls to calm down and irresponsible noise to stop. As for the research on the conditions and causes of the death of the Greek man who lived in Albania, he notes that they can then be examined with objectivity and mutual respect.
Konstantinos Katsifas was killed during an operation by the Albanian Police on October 28 in the village of Vouliarates in Albania.
According to information from the Albanian police so far, Katsifas had been clashed with police officers and shot at them.
