Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades will pay an official visit to Israel on June 15, 2015, accompanied by the Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides, the Minister of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Trade Yiorgos Lakkotrypis and the Government Spokesman, Nicos Christodoulides.
According to an official announcement, Anastasiades and his wife Andri departs on Sunday June 14 to Israel, where he will have a meeting with the Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem.
On Monday, June 15, President Anastasiades will be officially welcomed by the Israeli President Reuven Rivlin in the Presidential Palace. Then, the two Presidents will have a tete-a-tete meeting followed by a meeting of the delegations from the two countries.
Later on, President Anastasiades and the Cypriot delegation will have a meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at his office. After the meeting they will attend a working lunch with the Prime Minister.
During his stay in Israel, President Anastasiades will have a meeting with the Israeli leader of the opposition Herzog.
At the evening, President Anastasiades and the delegation will attend an official dinner, hosted by the Israeli President.
In the sidelines of the meeting, the Foreign Minister and the Energy Minister will have a common meeting with the Israeli Minister of Energy and National Infrastructures Yuval Steinitz.
Kasoulides will also hold a meeting with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Israel, and Lakkotrypis with the Minister of Tourism.
The Cypriot delegation returns to Cyprus on June 16, 2015.
