US ambassador to Skopje, Jess Baily has expressed his concern about the failure of the negotiations which aimed at overcoming the political crisis. Baily said that he’s worried about the inability of political leaders in the country to reach an agreement.
“I’m very worried about inability of political leaders to achieve an agreement. The June 2 agreement reached in Przino is a guideline which offers a way out of the political crisis. It’s necessary to have political will and agree on pending issues stemming from the June 2 agreement”, the US ambassador declared.
Meanwhile, negotiations continue in Skopje between work groups in order to come up with an agreement for the bill which prohibits the publication of registrations, the approval of the legal package on the media and also on the appointment of the new minister of Interior and minister of Social Affairs, who must come from the opposition.
The EU Enlargement Commissioner, Johannes Hahn, who mediated the talks in Skopje, also expressed his concerns. /ibna/
