The leader of the Albanian party BDI in FYRO Macedonia, Ali Ahmeti will visit the USA on May 4 for a two week official visit.
Party sources inform that Ahmeti and the high ranking party delegation will stay in Washington, New York and Chicago. The agenda includes meetings with high ranking representatives of the American administration at the US Department, congressmen, economic forums with businesses and meetings with the Diaspora.
“The meetings will clarify the positioning and demands of BDI for the Euro Atlantic integration of the country and the need for a rapid solution of the name dispute issue. In these meetings we will manifest our positioning for the progress of the country toward NATO or the finalization of all the open issues that block the Euro Atlantic integration”, stated a high ranking official of BDI. The head of this party, Ali Ahmeti is expected to address an invitation to the Diaspora to return and invest in the homeland.
Part of the delegation will also be Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for the Ohrid Agreement, Musa Xhaferri, the chairman of Çair, Izet Mexhiti and the mayor of Kërçovë, Fatmir Dehari. /ibna/
