Soon, Albania will have five star luxury hotels like other countries of the region do, where tourism is a consolidated sector of the economy.
Such fact has been announced by PM Edi Rama, according to whom, the first five star resort will start to be built in the area of Lalezi Bay.
“The lack of tourism is explained by the chaos and lack of vision in Albania. The country didn’t even meet minimum standards in terms of tourist lodgings and hospitality. Our sector of tourism relied on power generators, beaches surrounded by barbed wire, sewage that mixed with sea waters and poverty”, he said.
Rama added that “Albania is becoming more and more attractive in terms of tourism”.
“Albanian map of Albania will change. This will not only boost employment, but also develop surrounding areas”, he said. /balkaneu.com/
