A group of Albanian soldiers is participating in the Immediate Response 19 exercise, which started today in Croatia. The Minister of Defence, Olta Xhacka says that 1600 NATO soldiers from 14 different countries will participate in this drill.
“Albanian soldiers started the Immediate Response 19 joint exercise which was launched today in Croatia, alongside 1600 of their colleagues from Croatia, Hungary, US, Montenegro, Kosovo, Poland, France, UK, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy and Germany”, minister Xhacka said.
The Exercise has engaged 1,600 participants from the armed forces of Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, the United States of America, Albania, Montenegro, Kosovo, Poland , France, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy and Germany.
The Exercise is planned and directed by the USEUCOM, and is focused on training of the U-S Adriatic Charter member countries. /ibna/
