Albanian opposition calls on people to protest against current government

Leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha declared today in a news conference that the taped conversations that were recently published by German newspaper Bild were a testimony to the fact that Prime Minister Edi Rama had rigged the elections.

“Every election organized by Edi Rama has been rigged. This is the conclusion that we can draw from Bild’s publications and other scandals involving this government. These taped conversations showed us the scheme, the scale and the methods that were used. Socialists have collaborated with drug traffickers, murderers, thieves. They have bought votes, they have intimidated people to vote for their candidates and they’ve punished everyone who has been disobedient”, the democrat leader declared.

In the end, the opposition leader invited all Albanians to participate  in the ninth national anti-government demonstration that the opposition will hold in the capital tomorrow at 8 pm. /ibna/
