A report on organized crime in Germany ranks Albanian gangs among the most powerful ones. The report also says that the country is also seeing r rise in the activity of criminal gangs, which are well organized and spread outside Germany.
Albanian gangs are ranked among the most powerful ones in Germany, while Polish and Lithuanian gangs specialize in the theft of cars and their dispatch in the Eastern countries.
As far as gangs from Albania are concerned, the report says that they deal in the sale of drugs.
De Maiziere: Whoever fights crime in Albania must be courageous
According to the report on organized crime presented on Wednesday by the minister of Interior of Germany, Thomas de Maiziere in Berlin, criminal gangs are from Poland, Lithuania and Albania.
De Maiziere says that cooperation with Albania and Serbia is not going like Germany wants it to go. De Maiziere has declared that fight against criminality is not optimal and this, due to the links of organized crime with the state.
Due to these links, said the German Interior Minister, people who fight organized crime in Albania must be very courageous. /ibna/
