Albanian minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati started an official visit to Japan today. During this visit, Bushati will meet his counterpart, the Japanese Foreign minister, Taro Kono.
IBNA learns that this visit will focus on bilateral cooperation and the strengthening of economic relations between the two countries.
This has been confirmed in one of the meetings that minister Bushati had with the Japanese minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Hiroshige Seko and the president of the Japanese Business Federation, Yoshio Sato.
While expressing his gratitude for the support that Japan has given so far with development projects, Bushati has stressed that time has come for economic relations to register a new momentum. Foreign minister Bushati also briefed minister Seko on Albania’s progress in its path toward EU integration and invited the Japanese government and Japanese companies to support the existing projects through other incentives in the region. /ibna/
