“At this moment, we are drafting the framework which aims at boosting cooperation and which, we hope it will help both Albania and Macedonia in the process of integration.”
This was said by the Albanian minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, during the Second Inter-Ministerial Meeting between Greece, Albania, Bulgaria and FYROM, which was held in Thessaloniki.
Among others, Bushati considered this meeting as an important one to further strengthen good neighboring relations and cooperation.
According to him, “our countries have faced several difficult moments in the domain of security, fight against illegal traffic and violent extremism”.
Meanwhile, this meeting has also discussed the strategic implications of the situation and the current challenges of security in the region, the need to address new political-economic conditions, joint challenges and issues that relate to the energy sector. /balkaneu.com/
