Minister of Finance, Arben Ahmetaj is convinced that the Albanian economy has returned to positive growth and that this year, growth will be over 3%. Ahmetaj has based this on official indicators which according to him, put an end to the opposition’s perceptions on the real economy.
The Finance minister also talked about the business climate and foreign investments which according to him, have seen a significant increase in the past three years of this government in office.
According to the minister, the reforms that have been undertaken are the essence of the success of the government which managed to rescue the country from what Albania called a second financial 1997.
The minister said that thanks to these reforms, 173 thousand new jobs have been created and that the first term in office is expected to deliver the electoral promise for 300 thousand new jobs./balkaneu.com/
