The Albanian economy has increased by 3.36% last year. This has been confirmed by the country’s statistics agency, INSTAT, according to which “Gross Domestic product in the fourth quarter of 2017 is estimated to have increased by 3.36% as opposed to the fourth quarter of 2016”. “The main contribution on this growth was given by Commerce, Hotels, Restaurants and Transport by 0,66%, Public Administration, Education and Healthcare by 0,64%, Construction by 0,53%, Industry, Energy and Water by 0,45%, etc.”
“A negative contribution was given by Information and Communication with -0,23%”, experts of INSTAT said.
Meanwhile, the statistics agency added that the main sectors of the Albanian economy are Agriculture, Fishing and Forests, Industry, Energy and Water, Processing Industry, etc. /ibna/
