Albanian customs will soon be part of the European Union system for the management of integrated tariff.
This was announced today during the launch of the twinning project implemented by Albania and Italy, organized by the European Union delegation in Albania.
Meanwhile, the Albanian deputy Minister of Finance, Ervin Mete said that this is a step further to prepare Albania in the domain of commerce.
“This is a message for EU partners, because goods that are exchanged between Albania and EU grow in number and companies demand faster customs procedures, in order to conduct their activities”, he said.
Meanwhile, the head of Operations at the EU Delegation in Albania, Stephen Stork said that electronic systems in customs improve transparency and speed up customs clearance in the process of import, thus benefiting the entire business community. /balkaneu.com/
