Boxer Nuri Seferi, 37 years old from Korita, Gostivar (FYROM), was announced last night European Boxing Champion in the WBO version. He defeated in 12 rounds the Hungarian boxer, Tamas Lodi in the duel that was held in “CU Arena Hamburg” in Hambur, Germany.
Seferi has brought back this title which he also held two years ago, while now, he’s aiming for the world title.
For the 37 year old Seferi, this was the 42nd match in professional boxing. He has won 35 matches (20 KO) and has conceded 6 defeats. His opponent, Lodi has 13 victories (11 KO), a defeat and a draw.
Lodi surprised on November 30 of last year, by defeating the Finnish, Janne Forsman in Finland with a knock out on the 11th round for the WBO Europe title.
The Albanian boxer is fighting under the flag of Albania. He lives in Switzerland. /ibna/
