Albanian actress Yllka Mujo is awarded the Career award in the Comedy Festival in Monte Carlo

The prominent Albanian actress, Yllka Mujo, has been honored with the international Career award. This award has been given for the prominent Albanian actress in the Comedy Film Festival in Monte Carlo in its 12th edition.

Yllka Mujo, 62 years of age, was also a member of the jury of this edition of the Festival.

Mujo is the first Albanian artist that becomes part of these levels of international film.

The actress is well known in Albania, especially for her roles in drama films and drama plays in the theater. She has also played in several film and theater comedies.

Minister of Culture, MIrela Kumbaro, was present in the ceremony of the award in the Comedy Film Festival in Monte Carlo.

“Fantastic! I’m proud for the career  and the praising that our actress, Yllka Mujo received”, says our minister of Culture.

“Art opens stages and windows to speak and present Albania in a decent way”, Mrs. Kumbaro adds.

Yllka Mujo was present in this festival alongside known world figures of theater and cinema, such as Giancarlo Giannini, Franco Nero, Robert Hossein, Philippe Leroy, Maria Grazia Cuccinota, Peter Bogdanovich, etc. /ibna/
