Albania: Tirana Administrative Court upholds 14-day quarantine obligation for travelers from Greece and North Macedonia

According to press reports, today the Administrative Court rejected the appeal filed by the LSI against the decision of the Committee of Experts to impose a two-week quarantine on Albanian citizens entering Albania from Greece and North Macedonia.

The Socialist Movement for Integration (LSI) submitted today to the Administrative Court of Tirana a request for annulment of the decision of the Technical Committee of Experts for a 14-day quarantine imposed on Albanian citizens entering from Greece and North Macedonia.

According to reports, the court rejected the LSI’s request, reaffirming the decision of the Committee of Experts.

The opposition parties described the decision as an attempt by the Edi Rama government to exclude from the April 25th elections the Albanians living in Greece and North Macedonia, both of them countries with large Albanian ethnic communities. /ibna
