Albania is placed in the ten most preferred destinations in the world, which Hostelworld suggests that they must be visited.
Hostelworld concludes this based on the bookings made in 2015. Albania occupies 50% of bookings, while Montenegro, India and Denmark follow it in the ten best destinations for 2016.
At the top of the list is Myanmar and Belize is second.
Philippines are third and Indonesia is forth.
As far as cities are concerned, those which are expected to be visited the most this year are London, Amsterdam and Bankok.
Due to its coast, Albania offers several beaches, from the north to the south, such as in Velipoja in Shkoder, Shengjin in Lezha, in Durres, Vlora, Himara and Saranda, etc., beaches which besides Albanians, are also visited by foreign nationals, who choose Albania as a tourist destination during the months of summer.
Also, Gjirokaster, Berat, Butrit, Kruja, Tirana, Shkodra, Korca, Tropoja, Puka, etc, are destinations of historical and cultural tourism.
Meanwhile, mountain areas such as Tropoja, Theth (photo), Dajt, Dardha, Voskopoje, Razma, Llogara, etc., are preferred for mountain tourism all year around. /ibna/
