Albania: “Stay away from each other to be together tomorrow”

Doctor Mjekja Kola shared a message with all citizens, urging them to stay away from one another, so that they can be together tomorrow.

Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu has posted her message, while addressing new rules restricting traffic.

“We will do it again. We will succeed if we all do it together. We will succeed in fighting for the struggle for life, for the struggle to overcome the fear, because we will be close to our patients, serving with passion, professionalism and dedication. Stay away from one another today, to be together tomorrow”, doctor Mjekja Kola wrote.

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama announced on Tuesday the information needed for citizens to move from and to their work place, if they are not transported by means of the business they work for.

So those who are traveling by their own vehicles to and from the company they work for can now do so in the morning from 07:00 to 08:00 and in the afternoon from 16:00 to 17:00. Citizens who opt for these hours must state it online in the special form of the Directorate General for Road Transport Services.

The Albanian Prime Minister emphasized that in addition to the aforementioned hours, traffic is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Police.

Confirmed cases so far in Albania are 51, while one coronavirus patient has died./ibna
