Albanian national football team has managed to qualify for the first time in the finals of the football European championship.
On Sunday evening, Albania played against Armenia in Yerevan and grabbed a three nil win.
The victory started with an own goal by the Armenian side in the early minutes of the game, to then continue with two goals by Gjymshiti and Sadiku.
In the Armenian stadium, there was a small number of fans. The price of tickets was 2 to 3 euros and the most expensive ticket was 20 euros or 30 times cheaper than in the match played between Albania and Serbia.
The low interest of the Armenians in this match was clear. A win or a victory wasn’t going to make any difference for Armenia and many fans were against their team.
Albania has played three previous matches against Armenia and has won one of them. It lost the second one and drew the third one. /ibna/
