The Albanian government has decided for the citizens of several former Soviet and Arab countries to enter the territory without visas for the summer period.
The decision was taken in the last meeting of the Council of Ministers and is valid from May 25 until September 30, 2014.
Based on the decision, “citizens from Russia, Moldova, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, can enter the territory of Albania only by using a passport from the period May 25 until September 30, 2014. They will not be demanded an entry visa to Albania during this period.”
The government says that the decision came upon the proposal of the minister of Foreign Affairs and minister of Interior Affairs, in an attempt not to stop the arrival of tourists from these countries. /ibna/
