Council of Ministers in Albania has approved in its last meeting, a decision which legitimizes the agreement between the Republic of Albania and the government of Kuwait for the lifting of visas for holders of diplomatic passports, special passports and service passports.
This decision takes effect immediately. The decision was proposed by the minister of Foreign Affairs, in the framework of the law “For the endorsement of international treaties and agreements”.
Currently, through special passports, Albanian citizens can travel in all EU countries including Switzerland, but excluding the UK and Ireland.
Such passports also guarantee free movement in around 20 other non EU countries such as Egypt, Brazil, Japan, Russia, Ukraine, Thailand, Argentina, China, South Africa, Ecuador and several other former Soviet countries, African countries and Asian countries. /ibna/
