MPs in Albania have discussed today the amendments on the bill concerning strategic investments. The minister of State for Enterprise, Sonila Qato declared in front of lawmakers that the improvement of the legal framework offers more security for foreign investors.
Meanwhile, the country’s Finance ministry is drafting a new bill on investments, which offers investors a series of concessions. The bill is expected to be ready next year, while it will come into force on 1 January 2020.
According to the official figures issued by this institution, foreign investments in the first half of the year grew by 28%. /ibna/
