The government of Albania has decided to donate to the Iraqi authorities a military arsenal consisting on offensive grenades, shells of different calibers and cartridges. Meanwhile, it has decided to donate to the government of Afghanistan ten thousand Kalashnikov type machine guns.
The decision has not been made public by the government, but IBNA officially learned this by the Center for Official Publications which also publishes the Official Bulletin of the Republic of Albania.
The decision comes as a contribution of the Council of Ministers of Albania for the Government of the Republic of Iraq, in the framework of the efforts of the international coalition in the fight against terrorism.
Based on the decision, the government of Iraq is given free of charge weapons and ammunition as listed below.
Premier Rama’s government has also decided to donate 10 thousand 7.62 mm machine guns, model 56 (Kalashnikov) to the Afghan government, for the Afghan National Police, as a contribution in the framework of the efforts of the international coalition against terrorism./ibna/
