Albanian national football side managed to win 2 goals to 1 against Armenia as part of the France 2016 European Qualifiers.
The match was played in Elbasan, as the national stadium in Tirana is still waiting to be reconstructed.
The first half saw a bad start since the third minute when Armenia led 0 to 1, following a cross and a diversion from Mavraj.
The whole match was characterized by many efforts by the Albanian side and little efforts from the Armenian side.
On the second half, the red and blacks intensified their efforts.
On the 77th minute, Mergim Mavraj sent the ball on the goal through a corner kick by equalizing figures.
Four minutes later, Shkelzen Gashi sends all Albanian public in delirium by scoring the winning goal.
With this victory, Albania has 7 points and is ranked third, after Denmark and Portugal. Other matches played on Sunday as part of the “Euro 2016” qualifiers produced the following results:
