Serbia has defeated Albania with two consecutive goals past the 90th minute, ending the game two goals to nil, during a match played on Thursday evening in Elbasan Arena.
Albania’s expectations were high, but at the end came the punishment as usual. Albania lost in injury time.
The whole match saw poor efforts from both sides.
There were very few occasions to be remembered during 90 minutes of play.
When it seemed that the end was coming and Albania could come out with a precious point, came the first Serb goal from Kolarov in the first injury minute.
Less than three minutes later came the second Serb goal from Ljajic in the last injury time. Meanwhile, Denmark remained with 12 points following a one nil defeat.
Now, Albania has another fixture with Armenia. If it manages to snatch three points, then it qualifies for the group stages of the France 2016 European Championship. /ibna/
