With the support of the Council for Regional Cooperation and the EU, Albania has assumed a leading role in the aspect of digital links. This declaration has been made by the minister for Innovation and Public Administration, Milena Harito during the third Summit of Western Balkans held in Paris.
In her address for Digital Innovation and New Technologies, minister Harito gave a full picture of the developments in the aspect of the delivery of the Digital Agenda in Albania.
She stopped on the incentive taken by Albania with the support of the Council for Regional Cooperation and the EU for the holding of a regional project for broadband, as an instrument for the opening of new jobs for youngsters.
The minister stressed the importance of the digital agenda for the development of economy and the positive impact in the reduction of costs, the improvement of public services for the citizens and businesses.

Harito also stressed the importance of regional ties links for the development of cross border services as a necessity for the development of regional cooperation and the delivery of the objectives of the 2020 Strategy for Southeast Europe.
The third Summit on Western Balkan was held in the recent days in Paris as a high level meeting which has started off with the Berlin process in 2014, to continue with the Vienna summit in 2015. The scope of the summit is to back the efforts of Western Balkan countries, by strengthening regional cooperation through concrete incentives. /balkaneu.com/
