Premier of Albania, Edi Rama has commented today the “Doing Business” report issued by the World Bank.
In an announcement for the public, Rama says: “Good news for everyone who loves work and enterprise in Albania: We go up 40 places in the World Bank ranking of doing business”.
Earlier, Minister of Economic Development, Commerce and Enterprise, Arben Ahmetaj praised Albania’s being ranked 68th in the world.
“In one year in office, we managed to improve the ranking by 22 positions. This is good news for our economy. Our economic model has started to work out”, says Ahmetaj.
In the “Doing Business” report, the World Bank says that Albania has improved this indicator by 6.3 points and adds that economies that improve regulatory procedures and strengthen institutions that support commerce, business and enterprise, enable growth and stronger development. /ibna/
