Minister of Interior, Bajram Rexhepi and head of the Police of Kosovo, Shpend Maxhuni have reported at the Committee for Interior Affairs on the murder cases taken place at the start of the year.
Head of police, Maxhuni said that in the first quarter of the year, 10 murders have taken place in Kosovo. He said that Police of Kosovo have managed to resolved 70 of these cases.
Meanwhile, there are still three remaining cases unresolved, including the latest case in Pec. Maxhuni said that the last case in Pec is being investigated by the police of Kosovo.
Minister Rexhepi claimed that murders in schools and murders of innocent citizens, but also other murders, are worrying and that there prompt measures must be taken to prevent them.
Nevertheless, according to him, things are improving every year.
Meanwhile, members of the Committee have addressed many questions for Rexhepi and Maxhuni, expressing their concern about the high number of murders taken place in the first three months of the year. /ibna/
